

That same year Bassett bagged the role of Henry, a high school junior who attempts to win his ex-girlfriend back by playing Troy Bolton in a production of "High School Musical," in the meta behind-the-scenes series "High School Musical: The Musical" (Disney Channel, 2019-). He got his big break when he was cast as Harley's lacrosse-playing boyfriend Aidan Peters in "Stuck in the Middle" (Disney Channel, 2016-18) and shortly after played a young Eric Bana in the true crime anthology "Dirty John" (Bravo, 2018-).
